UMA and our mission

The Company was established in 1993. We are dealing in the field of recruitment of Ukrainian seafarers and specialists relating to Ships Repair, Shipbuilding and Construction industries.

Our office is located in Odessa - the main concentration point of human resources, one of the biggest ports in the Mediterranean and Black Sea areas. Odessa is also famous for its educational institutions, which produce well-educated graduates: Marine Academy, Marine University, Oil and Gas Technical College, Polytechnical University, etc.

We successfully cooperate with about a dozen of Owners and Managers from different countries worldwide (Hong Kong, Italy, USA, Germany, Greece, Bahamas, Latvia, etc.), and at the same time our firm has gained high reputation as honest and reliable company at Ukrainian labor market.

Company's Quality System is assessed in conformity with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, to ensure quality standards in management and production systems. Training, compliance, and review are key elements for ISO certified companies. It's an ongoing procedure directed towards quality improvement. We pay proper attention to observance of the standards of manpower selection and keeping watch on its changes and development.

Technical Department provides clients (Norway, Italy, USA, Cyprus, Switzerland, etc.) with repair services, and BV certifies this activity.

Our staff is 17 in number. Superintendents are former senior officers and top personnel have a large experience in recruitment, ships maintenance and repairs.

Being flexible and experienced in daily work with the Clients from the East and the West, and being anxious for further success in our business, we can meet all the demands of any potential Client.
